folds

.

I accidentally stumbled upon origami tessellation one day and was immediately fascinated by its geometric regularities and three dimensional qualities. There is a wide range of origami tessellations, but I'm especially attracted to those that generate ridges and valleys. Shadows glide through these spaces and generate patterns within patterns.  I will experiment with this particular paper craft and other mediums to create a multi-layered art piece.
